Responsible Sale & Age Policy

VapeDash exists to serve adults. Preventing sales to people under 18 is the most important rule in our business, and it is built into every step.

Our age controls

• Adults only. You must confirm you are 18 or older to create an account. The catalogue is only visible to signed-in customers.
• Check at the door. Our own drivers confirm the customer appears to be 18 or older before handing anything over, and may ask to see ID.
• Refusal is built in. If the recipient appears under 18, cannot show ID when asked, or nobody is there, the driver refuses the handover in the app, the goods return to our hub, and the customer is refunded.
• No proxy purchases. Buying for someone under 18 is not allowed and may be a criminal offence.
• No marketing to minors. We do not run promotions, social media campaigns, giveaways or imagery that appeal to young people, and we never use cartoons or youth-oriented styling.

Health information

• Every product listing carries a health warning: This product contains nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance. Not for sale to persons under 18.
• Products are for adult use only. They are not medicines or smoking-cessation products, and we make no health claims.
• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep products away from children and pets.

Our drivers

Drivers are trained on the age check, are told never to hand over an order if they are unsure, and are paid for the distance they drive whether or not a handover is completed, so there is no incentive to hand over when they are in doubt.

Compliance

We work only with licensed local vape shops and aim to comply with the South African laws that govern tobacco products and electronic delivery systems, consumer protection and personal information.
